24° stainless steel welding cone fittings

In systems and machinery you can combine different fittings with 24° cone. These include taper couplings, cutting ring fittings, weld nipples and fittings with a 24° cone (incl. Fittings and hose fittings). All of these types can be combined with each other and thus help the plant or machine manufacturer to reliably solve any bolting problem, no matter how difficult.

In the 24°-Weld nipple fitting the pipe welding side is adjusted depending on the diameter and wall thickness of the pipe dimensions. The seal between the fitting and the welding nipple is an O-ring, which is mounted on the 24 ° cone of the welding nipple. By tightening a nut  the Weld Nipple with O-ring is pressed into the 24 ° cone of the fitting.

This series of fittings, in which the connection dimensions of the fitting bodies are identical to the sealing cone, flared or cutting ring connection, are particularly suitable for applications with extreme pressure peaks, pressure surges and vibrations in the system. Thanks to the soft seal, the welding cone fitting guarantees maximum tightness, especially in the gas sector.

The fitting components are always made of stainless steel with the material number 1.4571 with a documented factory acceptance certificate.

At Schwer Fittings, all fittings are inspected during production and subjected to a visual, mechanical and functional check in our quality control department. In-house production on state-of-the-art CNC-controlled lathes guarantees maximum precision.
