Clino Aseptic Connections
Clino Aseptic Connections
Fittings and valves for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, chemical, solar and food industries must fulfil high quality and technical requirements. In addition to a high material quality, they must essentially be low in dead space, have surfaces that are easy to clean, have the correct use of sealing elements and be steam pressure sterilisable. Aseptics is another important point here - it is a precautionary measure to prevent infections and includes the sterility of instruments, system components and entire systems.
Furthermore, a distinction is generally made between 2 hygiene classes in the high-quality sector:
- Hygiene class H3 with an internal Ra value of <0.8µm (material no. 1.4404 = 4L)
- Hygiene class H4 with an Ra value of <0.4µm (material no. 1.4435 = 5S - Basler standard 2)
Schwer Fittings offers the following variants in its Clino® programme:
- Aseptic screw connections according to DIN 11864-1
- Aseptic flange connections according to DIN 11864-2
- Aseptic clamp connections according to DIN 11864-3
- Aseptic orbital weld fittings to DIN 11865
- Aseptic orbital welding pipes according to DIN 11866

Ball valves, valves, sight glasses and many other accessories round off the Clino® programme from Schwer Fittings. The system is of course also available in special designs on request. Proof of quality should be provided by means of appropriate material certificates. As a rule, material certificates in accordance with TueV / DIN 3.1 are required, with chemical and physical values of the base material.
