European pressure equipment directive PED 2014/68/EU
Range A and V (fittings and valves):
All products are developed and manufactured in accordance with Article 4.3 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Products with nominal diameters of more than 25 mm up to and including 32 mm must not be used for pumping liquid or gaseous fluids of group 1 (hazardous) according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Products with nominal diameters greater than 32 mm may only be used for pumping group 2 (non-hazardous) liquid fluids according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. If used with other media, a review by Schwer Fittings should be requested.
ECO range (Ecotube fittings):
All products are developed and manufactured in accordance with Article 4.3 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Products with nominal diameters of more than 25 mm up to and including 32 mm must not be used for pumping Group 1 (hazardous) gases according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Products with nominal diameters of more than 32 mm may only be used for pumping group 1 (hazardous) or group 2 (non-hazardous) liquid fluids according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. QC Range (quick connect couplings):
All couplings are designed and manufactured according to Article 4.3 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Couplings with nominal diameters of more than 25 mm up to and including 32 mm must not be used for pumping liquid or gaseous fluids of group 1 (hazardous) according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Range Aq (Aquapress Pressfittings ball valves):
All ball valves are designed and manufactured in accordance with Article 4.3 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Ball valves with nominal diameters of more than 25 mm up to and including 60 mm must not be used for pumping group 1 (hazardous) gaseous fluids according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Ball valves with nominal diameters of more than 60 mm may only be used for pumping group 1 (hazardous) or group 2 (non-hazardous) liquid fluids according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. If used with other media, a review by Schwer Fittings should be requested.
