Description

Specially designed to accommodate tube from 6 mm to 42 mm and accurately cut at right angles. The pipe is held in such a way as to maintain its integrity and ensure an accurate cut, thus helping to prevent leaks. For quick and accurate right angled cutting. Assembly aids including pre-assembly devices for cutting ring fittings

The Schwer Fittings product range offers numerous useful aids for the assembly of stainless steel tube fittings.

When pre-assembling cutting edge fittings by hand, it is necessary to bring the pipe with the cutting ring and union nut to the vice with the pre-assembly spigot. Regardless of the type of pre-assembly, the pipe must be deburred and free of swarf. A considerably higher amount of force is required for sizes from 12 mm.

For sizes over 12 mm and for applications with higher quantities, we recommend the use of electro-hydraulic pre-assembly devices. Regardless of the size used, these guarantee consistent assembly quality without the need for force and therefore also a considerable reduction in assembly time.
