We design and draw the individual components with the tightest manufacturing tolerances. During the entire production period, continuous functional dimension tests are carried out on the machine. The final inspection takes place at our headquarters in Denkingen / Germany. Furthermore, continuous improvements and innovations are incorporated into Schwer Fittings products.

We are expanding the operating pressure ranges of all Grade -7 threaded fittings to pressures of up to 250 bar, thereby also broadening their range of applications.
This allows our customers to benefit from greater safety margins, more flexibility in component selection, and simplified standardization of their product range.

In our video, we demonstrate the burst pressure test for the GF-140FRG38-7. The pressure test confirms the fitting’s high load-bearing capacity and forms the basis for the extended pressure ratings. The permissible operating pressures for the respective threaded fittings depend on the specific design and operating conditions.
Generally, all parts, that make contact with the media, are lasered with a test number. This number conceals a wealth of information. After many years, it’s still possible to match the mechanical tests to the original material and offer a 3.1 certificate.
This provides a customer advantage, as when a fitting is installed in a system that later needs to be inspected (TUV etc), if the number is provided to Schwer Fittings, then a 3.1 certificate can be provided.
