Stainless steel push-in fittings

Media-resistant, geometry-optimised, flow resistance minimised low-pressure hose connectors for gases and liquid media

The plug-in connections are ideal for applications where standard brass and plastic connections are undesirable or not permitted, for example in corrosive environments and when using aggressive media. The basic design is such that the medium (fluid) only wets the inside of the body and the seals. The space between the seals is kept as small as possible. The other components are located outside the wetted area and can therefore be protected from the medium on the one hand and cannot contaminate the medium on the other.

Push-In

The straight screw-in push-in fittings have a hexagon socket on the inside, in the area of the screw-in fitting, which makes it possible to fit the parts very tightly, for example in manifold blocks.

The inside of the elbows are spherically rounded at the deflection. This ensures that no dirt particles can adhere to the intersection; it also reduces flow resistance and turbulence. Both the elbows and the T-pieces are manufactured in a swivelling version (the legs can be oriented through 360°) and in a non-swivelling (rigid) version.

The materials used are as follows: Body, retaining rings and release rings: Stainless steel AISI 316L, material no. 1.4404. The seals are optionally made of FKM, NBR on request or customised materials. PTFE, polyurethane, polyamide and PVDF hoses are mainly recommended.

The use of suitable stainless steel tubes is also possible. The pressure range depends on the hose type and ranges from rough vacuum to 15 bar. The temperature range is between -20° C and +150° C, depending on the sealing material. The nominal widths (hose outside diameter) are adapted to the most common applications and range from DN 4 to DN 15.

Installation and handling of the hose connection is safe and extremely simple. The Push In plug connection is characterised, among other things, by the integration of additional leak-free seals. The hose is simply pushed in as far as it will go and a special retaining ring secures the hose reliably and tightly without the need for any other aids. The connection is released again by pressing on the release ring and pulling on the hose at the same time. Easy, safe handling during assembly and disassembly, which can be repeated many times without compromising the tightness of the fitting, is reliably guaranteed. The lines can be easily fitted without the need for additional tools, resulting in significant time savings during installation.

Push-On Fittings

Push-On

In contrast to the push-in connection, where the hose is plugged in, with the push-on connection the hose is plugged onto a specially developed and moulded connector, which forms a unit with the base body, and clamped with a union nut. The hose is sealed and mechanically secured without an O-ring seal. This product range is used where O-rings cannot be used (due to temperature, aggressive medium, etc.) as well as for applications with higher pressures. Push-on connections are also recommended in combination with very soft and extremely flexible hoses.

Appropriate adapters are available for connection to 24° internal cones (cutting ring fittings, sealing cone fittings, etc.). The individual parts of the push-on connections are very similar to the Push-In and can be combined with each other (modular principle).
