With 24° Adaptor

Flare fittings

Operation
To connect a below 37° flared tube to a 24° - Inner cone, we use flared ring BV-202nd This has the corresponding cones of pipe and tube and has O-rings on both sides, so that both the tube with the 37° -flare and the connecting piece with its 24° -lnner cone can be imputed elastomeric and thus a good seal is formed. The union nut has a metric thread and can be screwed onto the normally provided for cutting ring connections threaded connector. The pipe must be crimped as in ISO 8434-2, Table 5, provided that the O-ring of the flared ring is completely covered by the flaring.

Flaring tubes
For flaring stainless steel pipes, we recommend the use of electro-hydraulic flaring with hardened or hard material-coated flaring thorns to accurately flare tubes for a functionally reliable pipe fitting.
