The ferrit rate is mostly specified with ≤0,5%. There will be a specified surface treatment for each product. In the high-tech field of bio-, pharmaceutical- and foodindustry as follows: Surface finish of the medium touching pieces Ra ≤ 0,8 µm respectively Ra ≤ 0,4 µm. The Treatment concerns mainly the correct welding techniques with the aim to receive a weldseam with low ferrit rate. Welding will be only carried out with protective gas.
