This system is used in the field of water supplies for privat, industrial use and on board of ships. No matter if drinking water or sanitary systems, heating and air-conditioning technology, hydraulic cooling, fire protection or air pressure system, this type of connections has entered a big range of applications.
The Pressfittings can be delivered with different kind of connections like inside-/outside thread, flange connector or plug-in ends. With the selectable o-ring-materials (f.g. EPDM, NBR, FKM, HNBR) the connections are suitable for mediums like water, oil, gas etc. The use of stainless steel (material-code 1.4404/ AISI 316L) guaranties a long durability and is therefore on a long term not more expensive than other materials.
