LL-Couplings
The cutting rings in the sf 500 product range conform to DIN 2353. The tapered unions are manufactured to DIN 3861. In addition to the items found in the catalogue, Schwer fittings specialise in special and non standard fittings. Simply ask, we are reknowned for finding the answer to difficult problems.
Cutting Rings
We normally recommend the use of our specially developed double bite rings, sf 500 Z, which have been tested by German Lloyd. These are high precision components, produced exclusively in-house and have proved their outstanding reliability more than a million times over. N.B.: The rings are specially hardened and the resistance to corrosion of the ring can be affected by the hardening process.
If a high resistance to corrosion is required, we recommend the use of sf 500 B Twin Brillant rings. In addition, for certain uses, we offer sf 500 single bite rings as well as sf 500K Sealing Rings and sf 500 PT Sealing Rings in PTFE.
